The Army of the Southwest Iowa re-enactors presented an encampment, battles,and skirmishes, plus a fashion show and educational display at the Marion County Historical Village. The unit consisted of Confederate and Union infantry, artillery, and cavalry. In addition, there was a large group of period civilians. President Lincoln was present Saturday afternoon, and Sunday morning for church services.<\/p>\n
